May 2022 - Present
I am currently writing a curriculum for sexual education for primary & secondary aged children. There is no set syllabus for any sexual education classes in the public school system & I aim to change that. I am working with medical providers to cross check accurate & up to date information. This curriculum will be backed by science & will serve no political agendas. I am also writing a book about transracial adoption & being raised in a white family. Similarly, it will be a mixture of my personal experience, the trauma treatment I receive, other transracial adoptees & their stories, as well as medically backed
research on trauma itself, the difference between PTSD & Complex-PTSD, & developmental changes after trauma.

Founder & CEO
A Helping Hand Global
Jan 2017 - Present
In 2017, I established "A Helping Hand Global," a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Vancouver,
Washington, dedicated to providing essential menstrual care resources to those in need. Through my leadership and commitment to this cause, our nonprofit has made a significant impact on our
community and beyond. Our free Menstrual Care Kits, included essential items such as tampons, pads, pain relievers, sanitizing hand wipes, feminine wipes, and reusable menstrual cups. These kits were made available to individuals facing financial challenges, ensuring they had access to the necessary resources for menstrual health.

I successfully secured donations from major corporations such as Tampax, Kotex, & substantial donation from Anigan, which included reusable menstrual cups valued at over $12,000. They last up to 10 years and significantly reduce the environmental impact by decreasing the need for disposable products.

From the garnered attention from our mission and activities, I was in a featured spot in the Vancouver Business Journal's non-profit spotlight. The kits are waterproof for vulnerable communities to ensure that they are suitable for individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability. We collaborated with community volunteers and representatives from the disability community in Vancouver, Washington, to decorate each Care Kit uniquely, infusing them a personal touch. The first batch of Care Kits went to Must Ministries, another 501(c)(3) organization, which was better equipped to facilitate widespread distribution, thereby reaching a broader audience in need.
My role as the Founder and CEO of A Helping Hand Global reflects my passion for serving the community, addressing critical healthcare disparities, and fostering corporate social responsibility partnerships. Through my efforts, we have not only improved the lives of countless individuals but also raised awareness about the importance of menstrual health and sustainability.
